NFL Preview – Los Angeles Rams
The Rams last year won the NFC West Division with a record of 11-5 before losing in the Wild Card Playoffs to the Atlanta Falcons 13-26. Seen by many as an over-achievement for the depth of quality in their ranks, the Rams have seemingly gone all in this year.
Signed a lot of very good players for big money to bolster their already talented squad. Most notable transfers include DT Ndamukong Suh from the Dolphins; Marcus Peters who was formerly Cornerback for the Chiefs before signing; Aqib Talib, another Cornerback from the Broncos and traded for the very impressive Brandin Cooks from the Patriots. This will set them up nicely for the next season.
With last seasons over-achievement and the signings they’ve made, the LA Rams will see anything other than winning the Superbowl as a failure. I’m almost certain that they will win the Division this year and will be favourites to make the NFC Championship game at the very least. Superbowl may be a tad beyond them in my opinion but it’s not unlikely.
