Premier League – Team Of The Week 2

Premier League – Team Of The Week 2

That time of the week again. The Premier League – team of the week.

Neil Etheridge – Cardiff City
Earned his side their first point of the season with a 96th minute penalty save.
Kieran Trippier – Tottenham Hotspur
Returned to the side with a goal and a performance which showed why he’s far better than Serge Aurier.
Steve Cook – AFC Bournemouth
Been with the Cherries since League One and keeps on going. Big goal this week.
Shane Duffy (c) – Brighton and Hove Albion
Our star man this week was superb in the Seagulls win over Man United. Got on the scoresheet too.
Marcos Alonso – Chelsea
Got the winning goal against Arsenal and showed why he’s one of, if not the best left back in the league.
Richarlison – Everton
Another appearance in our team of the week as the young Brazilian scores again.
Solly March – Brighton and Hove Albion
Another key player in Brighton’s big win over United.
James Maddison – Leicester City
Adapting to the Premier League comfortably. Proving to be a good replacement for Mahrez.
Glenn Murray – Brighton and Hove Albion
At 35 years old, Murray continues to perform. Scored a key goal against United.
Sergio Aguero (v) – Manchester City
Hat trick for Aguero shows why he is one of the greatest strikers in Premier League history.
Troy Deeney – Watford
Watford continued their great start to the season with a win at Burnley with Deeney getting a goal.
– Robert Shiers
